Using Squarespace video blocks

If you watched the video above, you saw how easy it is to use Video blocks to add a (YouTube) video to your Squarespace website. While you can add videos to your site in several ways, this video tutorial shows you how to use the video block in a Squarespace blog post (or page), .

Here's how it's done:

  1. Open the Blog Post or Page you want to add a video to
  2. Click the insert button and select Video
  3. Go to your video (e.g., YouTube) and copy the URL, usually through the Share area
  4. Paste that URL into the Squarespace video editor block and click Save 

Remember you can upload a custom thumbnail or edit the video's description from within the Video Block Editor!
